Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 03, Verse 07
English:
Yastvindriyaani manasaa niyamyaarabhate’rjuna
Karmendriyeih karmayogam asaktah sa vishishyate
Sanskrit:
यस्त्विन्द्रियाणि मनसा नियम्यारम्भतेर्जुन
कर्मेन्द्रियैः कर्मयोगमसक्त: स विशिष्यते
Oriya:
ଯସ୍ତ୍ବିନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟାଣି ମନସା ନିୟମ୍ୟାରମ୍ଭତେର୍ଜୁନ
କର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟେଇଃ କର୍ମଯୋଗ ମସକ୍ତହ ସ ବିଶିଷ୍ୟତେ
Selected word meaning:
yah - one who, tu - but, indriyaani - senses, manasaa - by the mind, niyamya - regulating, aarabhate - begins, arjuna - O Arjuna, karma indriyaih - with the five working sense organs, karma yogam - the yoga of action, asaktah - without attachment (the desire for results), sah - he, vishishyate -excels
Translation:
But whosoever, controlling the senses by the mind, O Arjuna, engages himself in the yoga of action (Karma Yoga) with the five sense organs of action, without the desire for results, he excels.
