Selected word meaning:
niyatam - prescribed (obligatory), kuru - do, karma - duties, tvam - you, karma - work, jyaayah - better (superier), hi - than, akarmanah - inaction, sharira - bodily, yaatra - maintenance, api - even, cha - also, te - your, na - never, prasiddhyet - possible, akarmanah - inaction
Translation:
You should perform your (obligatory) duties, for action is superior to inaction. Even the maintenance of your body would not be possible by renouncing actions.
