Karma brahmodbhavam viddhi - Selected Verses of Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 03, Verse 15

'Selected Verses of Bhagavad Gita' recounts only selected verses of The Gita, which Krishna has said as it is. If you are pressed against time to go through around 700 verses of Bahgavad Gita, then this is the right place for you. This collection of verses is brought to you after years of listening to Bhagavad Gita from different sources. There is a separate post for complete list of verses.

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 03, Verse 15
English:
Karma brahmodbhavam viddhi brahmaakshara samudbhavam
Tasmaat sarvagatam brahma nityam yajne pratishthitam

Selected word meaning:
कर्म karma = action, ब्रह्म उद्भवं brahma udbhavam  = originate from brahman (vedas), विद्धि viddhi = know, ब्रह्म अक्षर समुद्भवम् brahman akshara samudbhavam = vedas originate from the Imperishable Lord, तस्मात् tasmaat = therefore, सर्वगतं ब्रह्म sarvagatam brahma = the all pervading Lord, नित्यं nityam = always, यज्ञे yajnye = in sacrifice (to the Imperishablel Lord), प्रतिष्ठितम् pratisthitam = situated
