Buddhiyukto jahaateeha - Selected Verses of Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 02, Verse 50

'Selected Verses of Bhagavad Gita' recounts only selected verses of The Gita, which Krishna has said as it is.

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 02, Verse 50
English:
Buddhiyukto jahaateeha ubhe sukrita dushkrite
Tasmaad yogaaya yujyasva yogah karmasu kaushalam
Sanskrit: 
बुद्धियुक्तो जहातीह उभे सुकृतदुष्कृते
तस्मात् योगाय युज्यस्व योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्
Oriya: 
ବୁଦ୍ଧିଯୁକ୍ତୋ ଜହାତୀହ ଉଭେ ସୁକୃତଦୁଷ୍କୃତେ
ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ଯୋଗାୟ ଯୁଜ୍ୟସ୍ଵ ୟୋଗଃ କର୍ମସୁ କୌଶଳମ୍

Selected word meaning:
buddhi yuktah - endowed with spiritual wisdom (evenness of mind), jahaati - can get rid of, iha - in this very life, ubhe - both, sukrita duskrite - good and evil deeds, tasmaat - therefore, yogaaya - for yoga, yujyasva - devote to, yogah - the science of uniting the individual consciousness with ultimate consciousness, karmasu - in all actions, kaushalam - art

Translation:
Endowed with spiritual wisdom (evenness of mind), one can get rid of both good and evil deeds in this very life. Therefore, devote yourself to Yoga for Yoga is the skill in action.
