Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 03, Verse 06
English:
Karmendriyaani samyamya ya aaste manasaa smaran
Indriyaarthaan vimoodhaatmaa mithyaachaarah sa uchyate
Sanskrit:
कर्मेन्द्रियाणि संयम्य य आस्ते मनसा स्मरन्
इंद्रियार्थान् विमुढात्मा मिथ्याचारः स उच्यते
Oriya:
କର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟାଣି ସଂୟମ୍ୟ ଯ ଆସ୍ତେ ମନସା ସ୍ମରନ୍
ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟାର୍ଥାନ୍ ବିମୁଢାତ୍ମା ମିଥ୍ୟାଚାରଃ ସ ଉଚ୍ୟତେ
Selected word meaning:
karma indriyaani - the five working sense organs, samyamya - controlling, yah - anyone who, aaste - remains, manasa - by mind, smaran - thinking, indriya arthan - of sense objects, vimudha - foolish, aatmaa - soul, mithya aachaarah - hypocrite (pretender), sah - he, uchyate - is called
Translation:
Anyone who, restraining the (five) working sense organs, remains thinking of the sense objects, that foolish being is called a hypocrite.
